Lionel Messi reportedly already has a house to live in in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of his move to Al Hilal.

Messi is claimed to have reached an agreement with Al Hilal. Even La Pulga is said to be officially introduced as a new Al Hilal player in Riyadh, Saudi, Tuesday (6/6).

Rumors of Messi joining Al Hilal were revealed by Saudi Arabian media Okaz. The media also claimed that the 35-year-old attacker already had a house in Riyadh to live with his family.

Messi’s father, Jorge Horatio, has arranged La Pulga’s residence in Riyadh since last March. Even Jorge had already told Messi the house that would be his residence.

“The best player in the world [Messi] will continue his career in Saudi Arabia, following in the footsteps of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr last winter.”

“Especially after Messi’s father showed him the house in Riyadh that was prepared for Messi’s residence in the Saudi capital,” Okaz wrote.

Messi refused to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after the relationship between the two parties deteriorated. Apart from that, PSG fans often jeered Messi, including during the last game with the club against Clermont Saturday (3/6).

It’s not just Messi who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Arabian club. Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, is also claimed to be joining Al Ittihad.

If Messi officially joins Al Hilal, La Pulga will become one city rival of Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr.
