The Spanish coach could not hide his emotion after City sealed the FA Cup title at Wembley Stadium, London, Saturday (3/6).
Guardiola was caught crying on the sidelines shortly after the referee blew the long whistle. He wiped his tears with his hands as a sign of happiness.
Man City, who appeared dominant from the start of the match, took the lead quickly when the game was not even a minute away. It was Ilkay Gundogan who managed to bring City 1-0 up.
Gundogan scored The Citizens’ lead through a right-footed volley outside the penalty box after just 12 seconds of play. This is the record for the fastest goal in the history of the FA Cup final.
Manchester United responded and equalized through Bruno Fernandes’ penalty in the 33rd minute. However, Gundogan returned to bring City ahead 2-1 in the 51st minute.

Both teams had a series of additional scoring opportunities in the remaining time. Still, the score was 2-1 for City’s advantage to last until the game ended.
This is Man City’s second title this season after winning the Premier League title in fierce competition with Arsenal.
Guardiola and Man City can win the treble this season if they beat Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Turkey on June 10.
