Pep Guardiola burst into tears after Manchester City won the 2022/2023 FA Cup. This title was confirmed after beating Manchester United 2-1.
The Spanish coach could not hide his emotion after City sealed the FA Cup title at Wembley Stadium, London, Saturday (3/6).
Guardiola was caught crying on the sidelines shortly after the referee blew the long whistle. He wiped his tears with his hands as a sign of happiness.
Man City, who appeared dominant from the start of the match, took the lead quickly when the game was not even a minute away. It was Ilkay Gundogan who managed to bring City 1-0 up.
Gundogan scored The Citizens’ lead through a right-footed volley outside the penalty box after just 12 seconds of play. This is the record for the fastest goal in the history of the FA Cup final.
