5G Booster is an additional pass provided by Celcom and Digi for customers who want to use the 5G network.
When first introduced, it was free until May 31, 2023. However, it had to be redeemed by the customer themselves through the application.
With the coming of June 1, customers will have to pay to use 5G on their devices. But, some postpaid plans are still given free 5G Booster.
Celcom

Plans with subscriptions below RM90 can still use 5G Booster for free until June 30, 2023.
Access only means that its use is limited to the 4G quota.
If you pay RM10/RM20, you will be given an additional 30GB quota for 4G and 5G.
Prepaid
All 5G Boosters on prepaid come with an additional quota. This means you can not only use 5G but also get more GB.
Unfortunately, they do not follow the one-month validity period of your internet pass. The validity period is only for 1 or 7 days.
Digi
